When you want to create necklaces or bracelets quickly and efficiently, Fireline is up to the task.
This is a micro fused, braided bead thread consisting of Dyneema®, a gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fiber, per diameter, ever created.
It has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on bead working.
Originally used in the fishing industry as a strong fishing line, the thread was adopted by the jewelry making community and has been super popular ever since.
Fireline is available in two colors, Crystal and Smoke Grey, in four sizes.
4 lb. test with .005"/.12mm diameter
6 lb. test with .006"/.15mm diameter
8 lb. test with .007"/.17mm diameter
10 lb. test with .008"/.20mm diameter
And in a variety of spool lengths.
It is recommend to use English beading needles for stringing and weaving with Fire Line.
Use #12 for 4 & 6 lb. test and #10 needles for larger diameters.
To finish off your Fireline jewelry, thread burners such as The Bead Smith's Thread Zappers are a perfect solution because they enable you to pinpoint exactly where heat is applied.
Simply tie a knot to finish your project, then burn the end.
A small ball will form on the melted end that prevents the knot from untying.

I'm a small business and I try to get your packages out as quickly as I can to the best of my ability. Sometimes there are issues with items being on back order or prematurely sold out. In these cases I will refund the purchase price of that item and send out the remainder of your order as to not hold up the items that are in stock.
I ship via the United States Postal Service. Once the package leaves the shop I am not able to track it other than the tracking number that is sent to you. If there are any issues with where your package is please contact your local post office with the tracking number for more information.

I use the United States Post Office to ship. I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or incorrect delivery of packages once there is tracking info for your order. Similarly, if your Paypal or Etsy addresses are not correct, we cannot be held responsible for those MIA packages. Should you find yourself in this position, we encourage you to take your tracking number to the PO and see what can be done.
